WinRAR: message d'erreur malgré un espace de stockage suffisant - que faire?
Un message d'erreur s'affiche-t-il lors de la décompression d'une archive avec WinRar indiquant qu'il n'y a pas assez d'espace, même s'il y a suffisamment d'espace libre sur votre disque dur? Nous vous aiderons davantage.
Possibilité 1: il n'y a pas assez d'espace pour les fichiers temporaires
Si vous décompressez des fichiers avec Drag & Drop avec WinRar, ils sont initialement stockés temporairement dans un autre répertoire, puis déplacés vers l'emplacement souhaité. Par défaut, le répertoire des fichiers temporaires se trouve sur le lecteur "C". Vous devez donc vous assurer qu'il y a suffisamment d'espace de stockage là-bas, même si vous souhaitez extraire les données vers une autre partition ou disque dur. Vous pouvez également modifier l'emplacement de stockage des fichiers temporaires:
- Cliquez dans la barre de menu de WinRar d'abord sur "Options" puis sur "Paramètres ...".
- Sélectionnez l'onglet "Répertoires" et modifiez le chemin sous "Répertoire des fichiers temporaires".
- Sélectionnez un dossier sur un disque dur où il y a suffisamment d'espace libre.
Option 2: votre disque dur n'est pas formaté dans le système de fichiers NTFS
Si vous souhaitez décompresser une archive contenant des fichiers supérieurs à quatre gigaoctets, vous devez utiliser une partition de disque dur formatée dans le système de fichiers NTFS. Cela s'applique également au répertoire temporaire. Si le système de fichiers FAT ou FAT32 est disponible à la place, les fichiers ne peuvent pas être décompressés. Avec FAT32, la taille de fichier maximale est limitée à quatre gigaoctets. Vous trouverez plus d'informations sur les systèmes de fichiers FAT32 et NTFS ici. Si vous souhaitez modifier le système de fichiers, procédez comme suit:
- Pour vérifier quel système de fichiers est disponible, faites un clic droit sur le lecteur dans l'Explorateur Windows et sélectionnez "Propriétés". Dans l'onglet "Général", vous pouvez voir le système de fichiers actuel.
- Cliquez sur "Démarrer", puis "Exécuter", puis tapez "cmd" (sans les guillemets).
- Dans la nouvelle fenêtre, tapez "convertir X: / FS: NTFS" (sans les guillemets). Remplacez le "X" par la lettre du lecteur dont vous souhaitez modifier le système de fichiers en NTFS. Normalement, le processus doit être effectué sans perte de données, mais la sauvegarde préalable de fichiers importants ne peut pas nuire.
