Pour que Thunderbird trie automatiquement vos e-mails, vous devez effectuer un petit travail préparatoire.
- Tout d'abord, structurez votre boîte aux lettres en créant des sous-dossiers, par exemple pour une personne spécifique, un projet ou des newsletters.
- Vous créez un sous-dossier en cliquant avec le bouton droit sur le dossier de courrier électronique, puis en sélectionnant l'option "Nouveau dossier" dans le menu contextuel.
- Pour que les e-mails entrants soient triés en conséquence, ouvrez le menu d'application. Vous trouverez le bouton correspondant à l'extrême droite (voir photo).
- Sous "Filtres", vous choisissez l'option "Filtres".

Créer des filtres dans Thunderbird
L'e-mail clint Thunderbird vous offre de nombreuses options grâce auxquelles vous pouvez filtrer vos e-mails entrants.
- Si vous n'avez pas déjà appelé à l'avance le dossier de messagerie correspondant, vous pouvez sélectionner le dossier souhaité dans le menu déroulant du menu "Filtrer" sous "Filtrer pour".
- Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton "Nouveau" et donnez un nom à votre filtre.
- Ensuite, vous décidez dans quelles circonstances le filtre doit être exécuté.
- Lors de la conception du filtre lui-même, vous disposez d'options presque illimitées. Vous pouvez trier vos e-mails par expéditeur, ainsi que par date ou par contenu de la ligne d'objet.
